Experience & Activities

Pianist and music educator, currently pursuing a PhD in Piano at Boston University, holds a Master’s degree in Music Education from Teachers College, Columbia University, and Bachelor’s and Master’s degrees in Piano Performance from the Manhattan School of Music. She has traveled to the Sibelius Academy in Finland for academic exchanges, broadening her international perspective. Teacher Hao holds a New York State PK–12 Music Teacher Certification and possesses extensive experience in piano and music classroom teaching. She has taught in New York public schools, served as a university teaching assistant, taught piano and music theory, and provided instrumental accompaniment for vocal and instrumental music. She emphasizes individualized instruction and excels at stimulating students’ musical expression and self-confidence. Her students range from beginners to performance candidates, and she is highly popular among them.
